Dankook University’s Early Admissions Draw 12.34 Applicants per Seat; Pre-medical Regional Medical Track at 12.20 to 1

Dankook University’s 2027 early admissions recorded an applicant-to-seat ratio of 12.34 to 1. The ratio was 15.17 to 1 at Jukjeon Campus and 9.34 to 1 at Cheonan Campus.
Dankook University closed applications at 6 p.m. on the 11th. A total of 40,296 applicants applied for 3,265 seats: 25,515 applicants for 1,682 seats at Jukjeon Campus and 14,781 applicants for 1,583 seats at Cheonan Campus.
The most competitive admissions unit was the Film Major in the School of Performing Arts and Film at Jukjeon Campus, covering theory, directing and staff tracks. It received 766 applications for seven seats, recording a ratio of 109.43 to 1.
At Jukjeon Campus, the document-based DKU Talent Admissions Track recorded a ratio of 11.07 to 1, while the interview-based track recorded 18.42 to 1. The Essay Excellence Admissions Track received 7,969 applications for 310 seats, recording a ratio of 25.71 to 1.
At Cheonan Campus, the DKU Talent Admissions Track recorded ratios of 10.64 to 1 for the document-based track and 17.19 to 1 for the interview-based track.
The Regional Medical Talent Admissions Track for the Pre-medical Program at Cheonan Campus, introduced for the first time this year, received 183 applications for 15 seats, recording a ratio of 12.20 to 1. The comprehensive school-record Regional Medical Biotechnology Talent Admissions Track received 569 applications for 42 seats, recording a ratio of 13.55 to 1.
