[Financial News] The Korea FP Association announced on the 11th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Retirement Pension Data to advance financial planning through digital technology.
The agreement comes as demand grows for consultations using data and artificial intelligence (AI) in the financial planning field, alongside the expansion of the retirement pension market.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will deepen their cooperation to advance financial planning. The Korea FP Association will work to promote Korea Retirement Pension Data's 'GLIDE FP' service, while Korea Retirement Pension Data will enhance the benefits of using the service for association members.
Korea Retirement Pension Data has already supported financial planners through its AI-based 'GLIDE FP' service, enabling them to efficiently analyze clients' retirement pension information and use it in consultations.
Chae Young-gyu, president of the Korea FP Association, said, "Financial planners will be able to further strengthen their retirement pension consulting capabilities by using digital technology." He added, "We will continue cooperating with various organizations to enhance our members' expertise and protect financial consumers."
Youngju Lee Nielsen, CEO of Korea Retirement Pension Data, emphasized, "Through this agreement, we expect members of the Korea FP Association to be able to provide more efficient and accurate retirement pension consulting services through 'GLIDE FP.'" He added, "We will drive meaningful changes in the financial planning field through AI-based technology."
Established in 2000, the Korea FP Association is the only financial planning professionals' organization in South Korea whose members hold professional financial planning qualifications.
