ITZY's Chaeryeong to appear on UNICEF Korea's 'Universe'... Supporting children's dreams

According to UNICEF Korea on the 11th, Chaeryeong will participate as a one-day companion through a talent donation in the first episode of 'Unibus,' the official YouTube content planned and produced by UNICEF Korea. The video will be released at 5 p.m. that day.
'Universe' is a series in which children with diverse dreams and backgrounds travel to their destinations by bus with a companion, sharing their dreams, concerns, and daily lives. The title combines two meanings: a special bus that shares children's feelings and the world of children, or 'Universe.'
The first episode features teenage idol hopefuls. Chaeryeong shared her experiences and offered advice on everything from the realistic concerns surrounding trainee life and auditions to anxiety and self-confidence.
Article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) stipulates that children have the right to freely express their opinions on matters affecting them and to have those opinions respected according to their age and maturity. This initiative, which directly listens to children's dreams and concerns, aligns with the spirit of respecting their opinions.
"It was an even more meaningful time to be able to directly listen to the stories of friends pursuing their dream of becoming idols and share their concerns," Chaeryeong said. "I sincerely support children in believing in themselves and confidently pursuing their dreams."
UNICEF Korea Secretary General Heo Geum-ju expressed gratitude for Chaeryeong's talent donation and said, "UNICEF Korea will continue to listen to children's voices and create a world where every child can discover their potential and freely pursue their dreams."
UNICEF Korea plans to continue releasing 'Universe' videos featuring the journeys of children with diverse dreams and stories.
