[Financial News] Eugene Investment & Securities is recruiting participants for Season 2 of its reading club.
According to the financial investment industry on the 11th, Eugene Investment & Securities is recruiting participants for Season 2 of the Eugene Reading Club. The program will be held online for five weeks starting October 12 under the slogan "Raising the Resolution of Text."
For Season 2, the company is recruiting 200 participants through its brand community, EUGENE LIVE, through the 27th. Anyone who enjoys reading and wants to communicate through books can apply free of charge.
The book selected for this season is *Tilted Literacy* by Jo Byeong-young, a professor in the Department of Korean Language Education at Hanyang University. Professor Jo is regarded as a literacy expert who has emphasized the importance of literacy across various media. Participants will read the book together, reflect on the essence of reading in modern society, and explore ways to build their capacity for thought.
During the five-week official program, participants will complete a structured series of missions: asking questions about the book, reading it in depth, recording key points, and sharing their thoughts with one another.
Every selected participant will receive a Reading Club Kit, a merchandise package designed to enhance the immersion and enjoyment of reading. The kit includes a copy of *Tilted Literacy*, a book stopper to help participants focus on the text, and an underline index for neatly marking memorable passages without damaging the book, along with other practical items.
The program also introduces a tiered rewards system based on the completion of missions. At the end of the campaign, participants will have the opportunity to communicate directly with Professor Jo through a "Meet the Author" session.
Jeon Jong-yoon, head of the Brand Strategy Team at Eugene Investment & Securities, said, "In an era of rapidly moving short-form content, we hope the Eugene Reading Club will provide a meaningful opportunity for participants to fully absorb texts and raise their own text resolution."
Meanwhile, Season 1, held in the first half of the year, attracted 1,121 applicants. The book selected for that season was *The Art of Thinking*, a humanities book on logic by author Cody Jung.
