The Korea Best Job-Creation Companies program, organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL), recognizes companies that have contributed to job creation and improved employment quality. S&I Corp. has been officially recognized for its contributions to expanding employment and improving working conditions after being selected for three consecutive years, from 2024 through this year.
S&I Corp. actively pursued job creation over the past year, increasing its total workforce to 1,600 employees, approximately 20% more than the previous year. In particular, it has continued to expand employment opportunities tailored to different generations by linking local youth talent development programs and internships to regular hiring, while also recruiting middle-aged workers and rehiring retirees.
Thorough on-site safety management is also cited as a major reason for the company's selection. By operating an integrated safety management system that reflects the characteristics of employees working at more than 250 sites nationwide, the company has maintained a record of zero serious accidents for four consecutive years.
The company's internal welfare benefits designed to support employees' work-life balance are also noteworthy. S&I Corp. operates a flexible work system and various leave programs, as well as an in-house daycare center and an employee psychological counseling center. It has also established a flexible work environment by introducing Sandy, a platform exclusively for space users that leverages its in-house smart office capabilities. In addition, the company supports employees' professional growth through systematic job training and an evaluation and compensation system based on Objectives and Key Results (OKR).
Seo Hyun, CEO of S&I Corp., said, "Being selected for three consecutive years is the result of our efforts to expand employment and improve the working environment," adding, "We will continue to create a sustainable workplace with a safe working environment, work-life balance, and opportunities for growth."
Meanwhile, S&I Corp. is a comprehensive real estate management services company that has managed more than 500 large buildings and approximately 21,000 stores. Recently, by combining digital infrastructure such as its 24-hour Integrated Operations Center (IOC) and the atG space operations management system, the company has been strengthening its competitiveness across the commercial real estate sector, expanding beyond facility management into asset management, lease management, and renovation.
