Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.'s 'Jangwi Prugio Mark One' Sells Out... Seoul's Largest General Sale in the First Half

[Financial News] Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. announced on the 11th that it had completed contracts for all 1,032 units offered for general sale at Jangwi Prugio Mark One.
Jangwi Prugio Mark One, located in Jangwi-dong, Seongbuk District, Seoul, received a total of 5,968 applications in the first- and second-priority subscription rounds, recording an average competition ratio of 11.7 to 1 and a peak ratio of 81.17 to 1. High interest continued thereafter, with approximately 96% of the units contracted during the regular and reserve-winner contract phases. The complex ultimately sold out through contracts for remaining units. Industry analysts attribute the success to factors including its location in Jangwi New Town, the premium associated with a large-scale complex, proximity to Dolgoji Station on Line 6, and its adjacency to Seoul Jangwi Elementary School.
The complex is being developed through the redevelopment of Zone 10 of Jangwi New Town. It will comprise 23 buildings ranging from five basement levels to 35 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,931 units. Located in Jangwi New Town, which is being developed as the largest residential town in northern Seoul, the complex is generating high expectations for its future value. It also offers excellent transportation access via Dolgoji Station on Subway Line 6, the Dongbu Expressway, and the Naebu Expressway. It is also expected to benefit from the future opening of the Dongbuk Line light rail and Great Train eXpress Line C (GTX-C).
The educational and living environment is also excellent. Seoul Jangwi Elementary School is located directly next to the complex, allowing for safe commutes, while Jangwi Traditional Market, large supermarkets, department stores, and North Seoul Dream Forest are all nearby. In terms of design and amenities, the complex features a sophisticated exterior recognized as an excellent-design apartment by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, along with a predominantly south-facing layout. It offers a variety of floor plans ranging from 39 to 114 square meters of exclusive area and improves space utilization with features such as alpha rooms, dressing rooms, and pantries. A variety of community facilities, including a fitness club, golf club, sauna, and cinema room, are planned within the complex.
A Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. official said, "This large-scale complex is located in one of the most sought-after areas of Jangwi New Town and offers all the features preferred by end users, including its proximity to Dolgoji Station on Line 6 and its location directly next to Seoul Jangwi Elementary School. The successful sale appears to have resulted from the combination of PRUGIO's differentiated product quality and brand competitiveness." Occupancy is scheduled for September 2030.
