Housing Presale Market Heats Up Ahead of Chuseok... Subscription Applications Open for More Than 10,000 Units Nationwide

[Financial News] The nationwide housing presale market is showing signs of recovery ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
According to RealToday on the 11th, subscription applications will open in the third week of September for a total of 10,602 units across 11 sites nationwide. In particular, large-scale developments with more than 1,000 units are being released in major areas, including Songpa District, Seoul, Gwangju, Cheonan, and Ulsan, drawing the attention of prospective buyers.
In the Seoul metropolitan area this week, offerings include 1,393 officetel units at Hillstate Songpa The Grid in Songpa District, Seoul; 195 units at Umi Lynn Forea City in Block A5 of Osan Segyo 2 District, Osan, Gyeonggi Province; 696 units at The Sharp Yeoju Station The First in Yeoju; and 792 units at the Yangju Hoecheon A-26BL Public Housing project in Yangju. Outside the capital region, major developments entering the subscription schedule include 3,216 units at All New Champions City Phase 1 in Buk-gu, Gwangju; 153 units at Grand Lac Eileen’s Ddeul in Nam District, Ulsan; 1,628 units at Cheonan IPARK City Phases 3 and 4 in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province; and 1,438 units at Dujeong Station Prugio Grand Peak. Winners will be announced at seven sites, regular contract signing will take place at nine, and three new model homes will open.
Among the major projects accepting applications, Hyundai Engineering and Construction will begin subscription applications on the 14th for Hillstate Songpa The Grid, being built in the Jangji-dong area of Songpa District, Seoul. The project consists of 10 buildings ranging from four basement levels to 16 above-ground floors, with 1,393 units measuring 34 to 119 square meters in exclusive area. Bokjeong Station, served by Subway Lines 8 and Suin-Bundang, is within walking distance and offers access to two lines. The Wirye Line tram is also scheduled to open. HMG Future Complex and a large-scale shopping mall are planned nearby.
On the 15th, Umi Construction and Shinyoung E&C will accept first-priority subscription applications for All New Champions City Phase 1, being developed in the Im-dong area of Buk-gu, Gwangju. The project comprises 3,216 units in 12 buildings ranging from three basement levels to 49 above-ground floors, with exclusive areas of 84 to 214 square meters. It will feature Gwangju’s largest community facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, screen golf facilities, and a sauna. On the same day, IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY will also accept first-priority applications for Cheonan IPARK City Phases 3 and 4, being developed in the Budae-dong area of Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province. A total of 851 units in Phase 3 and 777 units in Phase 4 will be offered to the general public, while a kindergarten and elementary school are planned next to the complex.
In addition, Hyundai Engineering and Construction plans to open the model home on the 18th for Hillstate Godeok Eliist, being developed in Blocks A12 and A65 of Pyeongtaek Godeok International City in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. The project consists of 1,779 units, all measuring 84 square meters in exclusive area, and benefits from strong surrounding demand due to its proximity to Samsung Electronics Pyeongtaek Campus.
