[Financial News] BNK Financial Group announced on the 11th that it will host the 2026 17th Busan International Music Festival—Ensemble Concert IV at Ocean Hall on the second floor of Busan Bank's headquarters at 7 p.m. on the 18th as part of its cultural performance program, 'Play on BNK (Enjoying Together with Citizens).'
Play on BNK is BNK Financial Group's signature cultural performance program, which opens Ocean Hall at Busan Bank's headquarters to citizens as a free concert venue. It has expanded opportunities for citizens to enjoy culture in their daily lives by presenting performances in various genres, including classical music, popular music, comedy and lectures.
The 27th edition of the program will be held in collaboration with the Busan International Music Festival, a leading international music festival representing Busan.
The concert will feature Johannes Brahms' 'Piano Trio No. 1' and Felix Mendelssohn's 'String Octet.' The program will begin with three musicians and continue with a performance by eight musicians, allowing audiences to appreciate the rich ensemble created by different chamber-music configurations in one setting. The concert will run for approximately 70 minutes without an intermission.
Nine musicians will take the stage, including violinist Florin Iliescu, concertmaster of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, and pianist Kim Seong-im, an associate professor at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in the United States. Musicians based in the region will also participate, including violinist Kim Dong-wook, a professor at Pusan National University (PNU) and former concertmaster of the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra. They will perform alongside musicians active on the international stage.
Applications to attend can be submitted free of charge from the 11th through the 17th via the 'Morak' category in the Busan Bank mobile banking app.
