Real Estate Board to Offer AI-Powered Real Estate Data Training; First-Come, First-Served Registration for 30 Participants

[Financial News] The Korea Real Estate Board (KREB) will offer real estate data analysis training using Python and generative artificial intelligence (AI) for corporate employees and the general public.
According to the KREB on the 11th, the “2026 Second Real Estate Data Academy” will consist of six sessions over three days, from the 29th to October 1, at the KREB Seoul Gangnam Branch.
On the first day, participants will learn about the types and characteristics of real estate data, as well as how to set analysis objectives and establish plans. They will also receive basic hands-on training in “vibe coding,” in which generative AI writes code according to users’ requests, followed by instruction on visualizing real estate data using the technology.
On the second day, participants will learn how to use generative AI to collect information from public data application programming interfaces (APIs). They will practice analyzing actual real estate transaction prices and supply information, then writing an issue report.
The final day will cover in-depth analysis using open data from the Real Estate Big Data Platform. The program will include planning a practical data analysis project, combining different datasets, and preparing a real estate issue report.
The training is a proptech support program included in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s “Real Estate Big Data Platform Operations Project.” The Real Estate Big Data Platform is a MOLIT information system that distributes and facilitates transactions involving real estate data and services held by public institutions and private companies.
The platform currently provides 279 types of data related to real estate development, supply, transactions, management, and income-generating real estate. It also offers 10 public-interest data services, including the “Nationwide Building Energy Consumption Information Service by Commercial District.”
Applications can be submitted through the Real Estate Big Data Platform portal and the Korea Proptech Forum website.
