[Financial News] Nongshim is operating a Shin Ramyun snack-food booth at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), one of the world’s leading film festivals.
According to Nongshim on the 11th, the company is participating in TIFF Festival Street, a street festival held around King & John Streets in Toronto, Canada, for five days starting on the festival’s opening day, the 10th. Visitors can sample various Shin Ramyun products, including Nongshim Shin Ramyun Toomba and Shin Ramyun Kimchi Stir-fried Noodles.
The booth also features a Make Your Own Shin Ramyun Cup program, allowing visitors to participate directly. Participants can combine noodles, soup powder and various toppings according to their tastes. They can also decorate their Shin Ramyun cups with their own personal designs using pens and stickers.
All proceeds generated through the program will be donated to a Toronto-area food bank.
A Nongshim representative said, "Shin Ramyun is engaging with consumers around the world as a lifestyle brand through collaborations with various cultural content, including films, games and festivals." The representative added, "We will continue expanding the brand experience into various areas so that global consumers can enjoy Shin Ramyun more closely."
Established in 1976, the Toronto International Film Festival is held every September in Toronto, Canada. Along with the Berlin, Cannes and Venice film festivals, it is regarded as one of the world’s leading film festivals.
