Shinsegae Department Store Targets Fall Golf Demand with 'Golf Fair'

[Financial News] Shinsegae Department Store is holding the 'Golf Fair,' offering discounts on golf apparel and equipment and presenting a range of customer-participation programs for the fall golf season.
According to Shinsegae Department Store on the 11th, demand for golf-related products is also recovering as the heat wave that continued through late August has eased. Sales of golf equipment at Shinsegae Department Store rose 40.9% year on year from the 24th of last month to the 6th of this month.
Shinsegae Department Store will hold the Golf Fair at all of its stores through the 20th, targeting fall golf demand. The event will offer discounts on golf apparel and equipment, along with gifts and other benefits based on purchase amounts. Event inventory has been expanded by 30% compared with the golf event held last spring.
The event will feature major brands, including Shinsegae Department Store's directly operated golf shops, J.Lindeberg, and Nike Golf. Callaway, Beanpole Golf, Descente Golf, and Malbon Golf will offer exclusive and special-price products, including apparel, golf shoes, and golf bags.
Store-specific pop-up events have also been arranged. At the connecting bridge on the seventh floor of Shinsegae Department Store's Gangnam branch, the premium golf brand MAJESTY will unveil its 55th-anniversary limited-edition products for the first time worldwide through the 22nd.
Customer-participation programs offering direct interaction with golf professionals will also be held. One-point lessons, on-course lessons, and golf lectures featuring Jin Young Ko, Im Jin-han, Lee Ga-young, and Jeongwoo Ham will be offered through a lottery.
