[Financial News] NCsoft is teaming up with Samsung Electronics at Japan’s Tokyo Game Show 2026 to create a demonstration and exhibition environment for its new game. Visitors will be able to experience the game on Samsung Electronics’ flagship smartphone and encounter life-size characters through a glasses-free three-dimensional (3D) display.
NCsoft announced on the 11th that it will collaborate with Samsung Electronics on game demonstrations and exhibition displays at Tokyo Game Show 2026.
NCsoft will showcase the new fantasy magic role-playing game (RPG) Astrae Oratio. Visitors can try the game on Samsung Electronics’ flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, at NCsoft’s booth. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra features a Vapor Chamber designed with a new structure to manage heat generated while running high-specification games.
Samsung Electronics’ Spatial Signage will also be installed at NCsoft’s booth. The display uses Samsung Electronics’ proprietary 3D Plate technology to create the impression of depth within the screen without requiring separate 3D glasses.
The 85-inch Spatial Signage installed at the booth entrance recreates an elevator inside the Teukgucheong building, a key setting in the game. As the elevator doors open, the scene makes it appear as though characters from Astrae Oratio are approaching the visitors. A 32-inch Spatial Signage display will also be placed along the visitor route. NCsoft plans to enhance the booth’s immersion and visibility by using three-dimensional displays in various sizes.
