Ride Across Busan’s Marine Bridges by Bike... Seven Bridges Tour on the 20th

[Financial News] Busan Metropolitan City Government announced on the 11th that the “2026 Seven Bridges Tour: Riding in Busan,” an urban marine-bridge cycling festival, will be held across Busan on the 20th.
The Seven Bridges Tour is the only noncompetitive tour event in the country where participants cycle across four of Busan’s signature marine bridges, two underpasses and one tunnel.
Now in its second year, the event will draw 4,000 riders from Korea and abroad, who will ride a single 77-kilometer course.
The course starts and finishes at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO), passing through Gwangan Bridge, Sinsundae Underpass, Busan Harbor Bridge, Namhang Bridge, Cheonma Tunnel, Eulsukdo Bridge and Gonghang-ro. It includes the Busan Harbor Bridge’s spiral-ramp section, known for its dizzying height, promising participants a unique riding experience.
A time-attack section and refreshment stations for participants will provide excitement and places to rest.
After riders finish, side events will include a performance featuring music at the finish line, finisher-medal engraving, a photo zone for checking race records and a variety of local foods.
Last year’s inaugural event attracted attention in Korea and abroad with its distinctive course linking the city’s marine bridges by bicycle.
This year, the organizers are recruiting international participants as part of efforts to globalize the event. They have also prepared various programs for citizens so that many people can enjoy the occasion with their families. In addition to the cycling tour, an event will allow 1,000 people recruited through advance reservations to walk across Gwangan Bridge. The “Seven Bridges Festival,” featuring exercise, recovery and relaxation at Yongho Starlight Park, will also be held.
To ensure a safe event, the city will deploy about 1,000 professional safety and security personnel along the entire route. It has also established an emergency medical system involving about 40 medical personnel, 15 ambulances, two medical booths and links with disaster-designated base hospitals.
