Samsung E&A Wins $3.5 Billion Fertilizer Production Facility Project in Saudi Arabia

[Financial News] Samsung E&A announced on the 11th that it had won the SAN-7 project from SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company in Saudi Arabia.
The contract is worth approximately $3.5 billion (4.7 trillion won). Samsung E&A will carry out the engineering, procurement and construction work on its own, with completion scheduled for 2030.
The project will be built in Jubail Industrial City in eastern Saudi Arabia. The facility will use natural gas as feedstock to produce 3,500 tons of ammonia and then use it to produce 7,700 tons of urea fertilizer.
