Byeon Woo-seok Buys Hannam The Hill Unit for 13 Billion Won; Estimated to Have Paid Entirely in Cash as No Mortgage Was Registered

[Financial News] Actor Byeon Woo-seok is reported to have purchased a unit in the luxury residential complex Hannam The Hill in Hannam-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul, for 13 billion won. Since no mortgage right was registered in the property register, the transaction is presumed to have been paid for entirely in cash.
According to Korea Economic TV on the 11th, Byeon Woo-seok purchased a 235-square-meter unit in Hannam The Hill in Hannam-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul, last May. Court property-registration records show that he paid the balance on the 2nd and completed the ownership transfer process.
No separate mortgage right was registered in the property records for the unit. Accordingly, the 13 billion won purchase price is presumed to have been paid entirely in cash.
Hannam The Hill is a luxury residential complex developed in 2011 on the former site of Dankook University. It consists of 600 units across 32 buildings and is known as a residence for numerous entertainers and business figures.
In April, it became known that Ock Joo-hyun, a musical theater actress and former member of Fin.K.L, had purchased a unit in Hannam The Hill. In July, it was also reported that Jin of BTS had sold one of the three Hannam The Hill units he owned.
Born in 1991, Byeon Woo-seok is currently 34 years old. He began working as a model in 2010 and transitioned to acting in 2016. He later appeared in dramas including Dear My Friends, Record of Youth, and Strong Girl Nam-soon, and starred in tvN's Lovely Runner in 2024.
Following the success of Lovely Runner, he also attracted attention from the advertising industry. This year, he returned to television drama with Perfect Crown after an absence of about two years.
