"In All My Life, I Never Thought I’d See Feces at a Baseball Stadium"... Shock at the Heart of Jamsil, Packed with 20,000 People

[Financial News] Feces of unknown origin were found in the middle of a passageway at a professional baseball stadium visited by tens of thousands of fans, causing shock and outrage.
According to posts uploaded on online communities and social media on the 10th, baseball fans have expressed outrage after someone claimed to have seen feces inside Jamsil Baseball Stadium while watching the SSG Landers–Doosan Bears game held in Seoul’s Songpa District on the 9th.
The writer, identified as A and describing himself as a Doosan Bears season-ticket holder, shared the disturbing scene along with a photo taken at 7:59 p.m. on the day of the game. The feces were found in a heavily trafficked passageway connecting Section 211 on the first-base side to the table-seat area.
According to A, the incident occurred around the sixth or seventh inning. While watching the game and looking at the scoreboard, A noticed a strange smell, looked around, and found feces lying in the middle of the passageway used by spectators. A said, "I had never seen someone else’s feces in my life, and I never imagined I would see them at a baseball stadium. It was extremely shocking."
Some suggested that the feces might have come from a stray cat, rat, or other wild animal. A, however, said he had not heard any animal sounds or noticed any unusual movement nearby at the time. He emphasized that it was "a place where many people pass through" and criticized the incident, saying, "Since this is a space everyone enjoys together, please observe basic etiquette."
Beyond being a mere nuisance, the incident raised concerns about hygiene and the spread of infectious diseases at a baseball stadium where thousands or tens of thousands of people gather. A specifically mentioned COVID-19 and Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD), strongly urging people to follow hygiene rules in public places used by many.
A said, "This is not simply inconsiderate behavior; it is a serious issue that threatens the health of many people." A added, "If people do not even follow these basic hygiene rules, the consequences will ultimately fall entirely on other spectators who have done nothing wrong."
A continued, "I usually let things go and move on, but this is something that absolutely needs to be addressed," making no attempt to hide his anger.
