KORAIL Holds On-Site Dialogue on Integrity Policies: “Customized Training and Incentives Planned”

[Financial News] Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) will collect integrity-related opinions from sites nationwide in real time through a QR-code-based platform. It also plans to provide customized training for each department and offer incentives for outstanding integrity activities.
KORAIL announced on the 10th that it held an “Integrity Town Hall Meeting” at its headquarters in Daejeon, attended by President Kim Tae-seung and about 50 integrity officers from across the country.
The event marked the first use of a QR-code-based platform for real-time participation. Using their smartphones, attendees shared difficulties in carrying out regional integrity initiatives, ways to foster an integrity culture that can be experienced in the workplace, and best practices for preventing corruption.
President Kim directly answered opinions submitted from the field and discussed the direction of integrity policies with working-level staff. Based on the suggestions, KORAIL plans to improve unnecessary work practices and promote a more horizontal organizational culture.
President Kim said, "Integrity does not begin with grand slogans, but with upholding principles in the small choices we make every day." He added, "We will listen carefully to candid opinions from the field, boldly improve unnecessary practices, and build a fair and transparent organizational culture where employees can work according to their convictions."
