The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 10th that it had signed a business agreement with the University of Seoul (UOS) on the 9th to expand exchanges and cooperation.
Under the agreement, the two institutions agreed to cooperate in the following areas: △ exchanges in the fields of expanding Industrial Complex M.AX and industry-academia cooperation; △ identifying and promoting joint projects for industrial development and innovation; △ fostering talent and supporting employment and startups; and △ mutual exchange of human and material resources and information.
Lee Sang-hoon, president of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, said, "For industrial complexes to be transformed into places that young people seek out, we must change the sites from the perspective of young people," adding, "Through cooperation with the University of Seoul (UOS), we will do our utmost to ensure that the university and young talent contribute to the expansion of Industrial Complex M.AX and the creation of a youth-friendly environment."
Won Yongkul, president of the University of Seoul (UOS), said, "We will do our utmost to actively exchange human and material resources and information between the two institutions, identify joint industry-academia projects, and foster future talent."
