The second contingent of the Nepal relief team will arrive on the 11th aboard a military transport aircraft. The first contingent is undergoing repatriation procedures.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on the 10th, the second contingent of the KDRT, consisting of a small number of search-and-rescue personnel and a reconstruction and recovery team, will travel to Nepal aboard a KC-330 Cygnus military transport aircraft.
The second KDRT contingent consists of a total of eight people, including personnel from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), firefighters, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and a medical team, and will operate in Nepal for seven days.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) also stated that support for Nepal will be provided at the request of the Nepalese government.
Article 4 (Basic Principles of Overseas Emergency Relief) of the Act on Overseas Emergency Relief stipulates that rapid and effective overseas emergency relief shall be carried out in close cooperation with affected countries or international organizations, based on humanitarian principles and taking into account requests from the governments of affected countries as well as Korea's international and economic standing.
After arriving in Nepal, the second KDRT contingent also plans to deliver approximately four tons of relief supplies—including tents, winter clothing, and blankets—worth 180 million won and donated by Korean companies to Korean NGOs, to the Nepalese side. Meanwhile, the first KDRT contingent will return home after completing its 10-day relief mission.
