Six Years of Giving: KT alpha Delivers Holiday Gifts to 200 Vulnerable Households in Dongjak District

[Financial News] KT alpha delivered Chuseok holiday gifts to 200 vulnerable households in Seoul’s Dongjak District ahead of the holiday.
According to industry sources on the 10th, KT alpha held the Chuseok gift-sharing event “Haengbok Jumeoni” on the 9th with the KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation and the Heukseok Comprehensive Social Welfare Center. The recipients were 200 vulnerable households in the area, including elderly people living alone and children from low-income families. Rice and fruit sets were distributed.
The event was organized to share the meaning of the holiday with residents of Dongjak District, where KT alpha’s headquarters is located. KT alpha has continued its community welfare-center-linked giving activities with the KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation for six years. The initiative provides vulnerable members of the local community with items needed according to the season and occasion.
A representative of the Heukseok Comprehensive Social Welfare Center said, “It was a meaningful act of giving that allowed us to convey warmth to our neighbors in the community ahead of Chuseok.” The representative added, “We hope that giving created jointly by businesses and the local community will provide strong support to neighbors facing difficulties.”
