[Financial News] NS Shopping will pay approximately 15 billion won in sales proceeds early to ease its partner companies’ financial burden ahead of Chuseok.
According to industry sources on the 10th, NS Shopping will pay the sales proceeds to approximately 1,040 companies, including small and medium-sized partners, on the 23rd—one week earlier than the originally scheduled payment date of the 30th.
The measure is intended to support the smooth management of funds by partner companies, whose financial needs increase ahead of the holiday season due to expenses such as raw and subsidiary materials and wages, the company explained.
NS Shopping has operated a system that brings forward sales-proceeds payments ahead of holidays and specific seasons. During this year’s Lunar New Year holiday, it paid approximately 19 billion won in sales proceeds early to around 1,200 partner companies.
Park Seong-min, director of the Management Support Division at NS Shopping, said, "We brought forward the sales-proceeds payment schedule to provide practical help to partner companies facing increased financial needs ahead of Chuseok. We will continue to provide various mutual-growth support measures so that we can grow together based on our trust with partner companies."
