Kia Corporation Unveils Three Key Models—Kia Seltos, Kia Carens, and Kia Sonet—at GIIAS Bandung 2026 in Indonesia

【Jakarta, Indonesia = Correspondent Aulia Maulida Hamdani】 Kia Corporation's Indonesian sales subsidiary is participating in 'GIIAS Bandung 2026,' held from the 9th to the 13th at the Sudirman Grand Ballroom in Bandung, West Java, showcasing three key models—the Kia Seltos, Kia Carens, and Kia Sonet—as well as a booth featuring Korean-inspired elements.
According to local media reports on the 10th, Kia Corporation is exhibiting the Kia Seltos, Kia Carens, and Kia Sonet at the event and is also operating a test-drive program so visitors can experience the vehicles firsthand.
The Kia Seltos is an SUV featuring a sophisticated design, ample space, and a comfortable ride. It is equipped with Level 2 ADAS and six airbags, enhancing driving performance and safety. The Kia Carens targets families with a three-row seating configuration for six or seven passengers, while the Kia Sonet emphasizes urban driving convenience with its compact body.
In the Bandung area, the Kia Seltos is priced from 363 million rupiah (approximately 27.71 million won) to 473 million rupiah (approximately 36.11 million won). The Kia Carens ranges from 273 million rupiah (approximately 20.84 million won) to 385 million rupiah (approximately 29.39 million won), while the Kia Sonet is priced from 267 million rupiah (approximately 20.38 million won) to 319 million rupiah (approximately 24.35 million won).
In addition to displaying vehicles, Kia Corporation has prepared programs offering visitors an opportunity to experience Korean culture. At the booth, it is hosting a 'Hanbok Photo Challenge,' in which participants can take photos wearing hanbok, and providing Kia merchandise to participants.
"We prepared this program so that consumers can receive tangible benefits during the process of deciding whether to purchase after seeing and experiencing the vehicles firsthand during the exhibition," said Albertus Welly Nugroho, Executive Vice President of Sales at Kia Indonesia. "In addition to cash benefits, we will provide value to customers after purchase through regular inspections and extended warranties."
