[Financial News] KB Financial Group announced on the 10th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Bloomberg at the new KB Kookmin Bank building in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 9th to strengthen its global capital-markets business and expand its overseas customer and investor network.
The two companies will pursue cooperation in data and technology, focusing on capital markets, asset management, and global business. KB Financial Group plans to use Bloomberg’s financial information and analytical solutions to streamline trading and investment processes and strengthen its portfolio and risk-management capabilities. The companies will also identify cooperation projects in data governance and digital transformation.
In the medium to long term, the two companies will seek new opportunities for cooperation while working together to promote KB Financial Group’s diverse products and services to global market participants.
A KB Financial Group representative said, "Based on its cooperation with Bloomberg, KB Financial Group will enhance its expertise in capital markets and continue expanding its global business foundation."
Meanwhile, at the 2026 KB Financial Group Korea Conference held in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 9th, Bloomberg founder Michael Bloomberg delivered a congratulatory message, while Bloomberg Asia-Pacific Chairman Bing Li gave the keynote speech.
