Hyundai Engineering to Launch Sales of 'Hillstate Geoje Signature' Next Month

[Financial News] Hyundai Engineering will launch sales of Hillstate in Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, next month.
Hyundai Engineering said on the 10th that it will open a model house in Okpo-dong, Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, before launching sales of Hillstate Geoje Signature.
The apartment complex will be built around 1680 Okpo-dong, Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province. It is planned to span seven underground floors and 36 above-ground floors. Unit sizes will range from 84m2 to 165m2P, accommodating a total of 1,963 households. The complex will primarily feature medium- and large-sized units, including six penthouses ranging from 138m2 to 165m2P.
As industries based in Geoje show signs of recovery, the city’s housing market also appears poised for revitalization. According to the Korea Real Estate Board (KREB), 1,882 apartment sales transactions were recorded in Geoje from January through July, up approximately 22.3% from 1,539 during the same period last year. The housing market is showing signs of recovery as shipbuilding companies, including Samsung Heavy Industries and Hanwha Ocean, regain momentum.
The complex also benefits from a strong location. It is adjacent to the Hanwha Ocean Geoje Shipyard, allowing residents to live close to work. The Geoje Bridge provides access to major areas of Geoje and Tongyeong, while the Geoga Bridge makes travel to Busan convenient. With construction of the Southern Inland Railway, which will connect to Gimcheon in North Gyeongsang Province, having begun in February, the metropolitan transportation network linking the area to the Seoul metropolitan region is also expected to improve.
The complex will also offer an educational environment for children. Okpo Elementary School, located in front of the complex, is scheduled to relocate, with its opening targeted for 2029. Okpo Seongji Middle School is also within walking distance. Hyundai Engineering has signed memorandums of understanding with Atherton International School and MegaStudyEdu and plans to provide programs for residents’ children.
The complex will include a range of community facilities. In addition to a multipurpose gymnasium, it will feature an indoor swimming pool and sauna. Facilities for leisure activities, including an indoor golf practice range and fitness center, are also planned. A private media room for watching films and video content will also be created, providing residents with a self-contained living environment within the complex.
Residents will also have access to nearby amenities, including Lotte Mart, Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, and Okpo International Market. Leisure and administrative facilities, such as the Okpo 1-dong Community Service Center, a sports field, and Central Park, are also located nearby.
A sales representative said, "The name reflects our intention to establish a new standard for housing in Geoje and introduce an iconic complex that will represent the area for many years." The representative added, "As the shipbuilding industry’s order wins are expected to translate into employment and regional economic growth over the medium to long term, we will create Geoje’s signature complex by differentiating it not only through its scale and brand but also through its educational facilities and community amenities."
The model house will be located at 302-3 Okpo-dong, Geoje, and will open in October.
