The Korea Ocean Business Corporation announced on the 10th that it held the Global Logistics and Supply Chain Investment Support Briefing on the 8th local time at Zamek Topacz Hotel in Poland for companies, investors and relevant organizations in the domestic and international logistics, port and supply chain sectors.
KOBC has held global logistics and supply chain investment support briefings in major overseas regions every year. The events are intended to provide information on local logistics markets in line with the expansion of domestic companies’ overseas operations, while exploring financial support and co-investment options to help companies secure overseas logistics hubs in a stable manner.
This time, the briefing was held in Poland, where domestic manufacturing and logistics companies are actively expanding and which is drawing attention as a key hub for European logistics. The event focused on supporting domestic companies in building logistics networks in Europe and securing stable supply chains.
The briefing introduced KOBC’s major programs and support systems, as well as the current status of international logistics and supply chain investment fund operations. Participants also shared forecasts for the European logistics real estate market and examples of logistics real estate investment and development in major regions of Poland.
Samsung SRA Asset Management and CAPSTONE Asset Management introduced the global logistics and supply chain investment funds they manage, along with their major investment assets. Cushman & Wakefield, an international commercial real estate services company, presented recent trends and forecasts for the European logistics real estate market.
The briefing provided an opportunity to share support measures that would help domestic companies understand local logistics markets and investment environments in Europe and secure logistics hubs suited to their business characteristics and needs. Participants also discussed various forms of cooperation with investors, including domestic companies’ expansion into Europe, related financial support and co-investment.
Ahn Byeong-gil, president of KOBC, said, "As the international supply chain continues to be restructured, proactively securing key logistics hubs is an important foundation for our companies’ stable expansion overseas and for strengthening their supply chain competitiveness. We will continue to actively identify high-quality logistics assets in major regions, including Europe, and support domestic companies’ expansion into overseas logistics infrastructure."
