[Financial News] Shinhan Bank has launched a support program to strengthen small business owners’ management capabilities.
According to the financial sector on the 10th, Shinhan Bank held the ‘Success Do-Dream Seminar’ on the 9th at the headquarters of the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation in Suwon-si, Gyeonggi Province, together with the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation and the Financial Supervisory Service.
The ‘Success Do-Dream Seminar’ is a support program that Shinhan Bank has operated since 2017 to enhance small business owners’ management capabilities and help them run their businesses stably. More than 5,400 people have participated to date, receiving customized support needed for business operations, including management education and financial and nonfinancial consultations.
This seminar covered practical topics that could be applied in the field, from the economic outlook to delivery-platform operations and sales-growth strategies, helping participants respond to changes in the restaurant, delivery and consumer markets.
At the seminar, a doctor from the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation’s Research and Analysis Team introduced management response strategies under the theme ‘Second-Half Economic Outlook and Response Measures for Small Business Owners.’ Delivery-focused YouTuber Jang Coach and Kim Yujin, author of ‘Business Is Strategy,’ then shared their respective expertise on operating delivery platforms and increasing sales.
Shinhan Bank, the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation and the Financial Supervisory Service also set up consultation booths at the venue. They provided customized consultations on financial products, comprehensive support for small business owners and financial difficulties.
A Shinhan Bank official said, "We organized this seminar to provide, in one place, information that small business owners can use in the field and the support they need to respond effectively to changing market conditions." The official added, "We will continue to support small business owners’ stable business operations and sustainable growth through various financial and nonfinancial programs, including Ttaenggyeoyo."
