[Financial News] INNOCEAN Worldwide is conducting a large-scale memorial and social-contribution campaign across the United States to mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
On the 10th, INNOCEAN Worldwide said its U.S. creative subsidiary, David&Goliath (D&G), is launching the “Unite for Good” campaign with the U.S. nonprofit 9/11 Day. The campaign was created to honor the victims of the 9/11 attacks and carry forward the spirit of solidarity and volunteerism that emerged in American society at the time through acts of service.
D&G was selected as the campaign partner after competing with major New York advertising agencies. Drawing on its experience with public-interest campaigns, including efforts to encourage voter participation and support education for disadvantaged youth, the agency proposed a strategy and creative concept that people across the United States could participate in.
The campaign aims to secure “one million pledges of good deeds.” Through the official platform, Americans can pledge and carry out acts ranging from small gestures to help their neighbors to providing meals for vulnerable groups and volunteering in youth education programs.
The campaign video features comedian Pete Davidson, the son of Scott Davidson, a firefighter who died in the line of duty at the site of the 9/11 attacks. The video was released through ABC’s morning program “Good Morning America.”
D&G’s New York office is responsible for the campaign strategy and creative development and production, while Innocean USA handles media strategy and execution.
An INNOCEAN Worldwide official said, “We will continue to expand our business in the U.S. market based on our creative capabilities and network strength.”
