Incheon to Offer Onnuri Gift Certificate Refunds at 33 Traditional Markets for Chuseok, Up to 20,000 Won per Person

【Financial News Incheon=Reporter Gap-su Han】 Incheon Metropolitan City Government is organizing an Onnuri Gift Certificate refund event ahead of the Chuseok holiday to promote consumption at traditional markets and of domestic agricultural, livestock, and fishery products.
Incheon Metropolitan City Government announced on the 10th that it will hold the Onnuri Gift Certificate refund event from the 16th to the 20th at 33 traditional markets across the city for consumers who purchase domestic agricultural, livestock, and fishery products.
The event was arranged to ease the burden on residents facing soaring grocery prices ahead of Chuseok and to encourage consumption at traditional markets and of domestic agricultural, livestock, and fishery products.
During the event, consumers who purchase fresh domestic agricultural, livestock, and fishery products can receive a refund of up to 30% of the purchase amount in Onnuri Gift Certificates. Refunds will vary according to the purchase amount: consumers who spend at least 34,000 won but less than 67,000 won will receive 10,000 won, while those who spend 67,000 won or more will receive up to 20,000 won. The refund limit is 20,000 won per person.
The agricultural and livestock products refund event will be held at 13 markets: Sinpo International Market, Songhyeon Traditional Market, Singi Market and Nambu General Market, Tojigeumgo Market, Yongnam Market, Songdo Station Market, Guwol Wholesale Traditional Market, Bupyeong Market, Ilsin Market, Gyesan Market, Livestock Products Market, Gajwa Market, and Jeongseojin Central Market.
The fishery products refund event will take place at 20 markets: Ganghwa Pungmul Market, Incheon Complex Fish Market, Shinheung Market, Seokbawi Market, Yonghyeon Market, Incheon Nambu General Market and Singi Market, Yongnam Market, Okryeon Market, Guwol Market and Moraenae Traditional Market, Incheon Mansu Traditional Market, Jangseungbaegi Traditional Market, Soraepogu Traditional Fish Market, Sorae Fish Market, Bupyeong Market, Bupyeong Kkang Market and Jinheung General Market, Jakjeon Market, Gyesan Market, Gyeyangsan Mountain Traditional Market, Gangnam Market, Jeongseojin Central Market, and Geobuk Market and New Geobuk Market.
Consumers seeking a refund should bring the receipt for their purchase made at the participating market during the event period, along with an identification document such as an ID card or credit card, and visit the refund booth inside the market.
However, the event may end earlier than scheduled if the allocated budget is exhausted. Consumers who want a refund should therefore check whether refunds are still available after making their purchases.
