[Financial News] LG CNS is hiring hundreds of new employees in nine job categories, including artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, as part of its efforts to secure talented people who will lead its future core businesses.
According to LG CNS on the 10th, the recruitment drive will run through the 14th across major business areas, including AI, robotics, consulting, DX engineering, cloud AM (Application Modernization), architects, ERP, smart factories, and convergence engineering.
AI, one of LG CNS’s core business areas, involves designing and implementing AI models and services optimized for customers’ businesses. New hires in AI can plan specialized agentic AI services across industries such as finance, the public sector, manufacturing, and logistics. They can also develop into AX (AI transformation) experts who drive business innovation for customers.
The robotics role, which will drive LG CNS’s future growth, involves applying robots in industrial settings such as manufacturing and logistics and verifying whether next-generation robotics technologies can be deployed in the field. LG CNS is leading Korea’s RX (robot transformation) sector, having launched PhysicalWorks, the country’s first integrated robot learning and operations platform by a domestic company, in May. Employees can build expertise by gaining experience with robots and automation technologies across various industries.
The consulting role serves as the vanguard of customer business innovation by analyzing business issues and establishing AX/DX (digital transformation) strategies. DX engineers develop core systems and services for industries including digital finance, the public sector, and telecommunications, creating new value for customers.
Anyone with at least a bachelor’s degree and IT skills, including those expected to graduate in February 2027, may apply regardless of major. LG CNS plans to give preference to applicants with relevant experience and expertise in each of the nine job categories.
The recruitment process consists of document screening, a written assessment, a practical interview, and a final interview. The written assessment includes an aptitude and personality test and a CNS-specific assessment. LG CNS has introduced the new CNS-specific assessment to evaluate applicants’ interest in the latest technology trends and their ability to use AI. For all positions, it will assess applicants’ understanding of global technology and industry trends. Depending on the position, applicants will also take an assessment of their generative AI capabilities in either a coding or planning format. Hyun Shin-gyun, CEO of LG CNS, emphasized, "The success or failure of technological competition ultimately depends on the people who execute the technology." The company is focusing on securing and developing talented people who can turn technology into real customer value in core business areas such as AI and robotics. After they join the company, LG CNS also plans to actively support new employees so they can grow into experts in their respective fields through diverse project experience and systematic skills development.
