On the 10th, skies across the country will be occasionally cloudy, with daytime temperatures rising to 23–29°C. Early-autumn weather will continue, with inland areas seeing a large day–night temperature difference of around 10–15°C.
According to the Korean Meteorological Administration, daytime highs are expected to reach 26°C in Seoul and Incheon Metropolitan City, 24°C in Suwon, 25°C in Chuncheon, and 23°C in Gangneung. Temperatures will rise to 25°C in Cheongju, 24°C in Daejeon, 27°C in Jeonju, and 29°C in Gwangju. Forecast highs are 25°C in Daegu, 26°C in Busan, 24°C in Ulsan, 27°C in Changwon, and 27°C in Jeju Province.
Seoul and the greater metropolitan area will be mostly cloudy before gradually clearing. Daytime temperatures will remain in the mid-20s, with no intense heat expected even at midday.
Winds will be strong in the southern regions and Jeju Province. Since 6 a.m., strong wind advisories have been in effect for Geomundo Island and Chodo Island in South Jeolla Province, Wando’s islands, and eastern Jeju City and eastern Seogwipo City. The strong wind advisories for eastern Jeju and Wando’s islands are expected to be lifted in the late afternoon, while those for Geomundo Island and Chodo Island are forecast to end early on the 11th.
At sea, high waves will continue, particularly in the waters off the southern coast and Jeju Province. A high wave warning is in effect for the outer far seas of the eastern South Sea and the outer southern and inner southeastern far seas off Jeju Province. High wave advisories are also in effect in parts of the southern East Sea, the South Sea, and the waters off Jeju Province.
Waves could reach more than 5 meters in height, especially in the eastern South Sea far seas and the southern Jeju far seas. Strong swell will move into the East Coast of Korea, the southern coast of the Gyeongsang region, and the coast of Jeju Province through the 11th. In some areas, high waves may overtop breakwaters and coastal rocks.
Fine-dust levels will be “good” nationwide as air dispersal remains smooth.
