[Financial News] Annie (real name Moon Seo-yoon), a member of the group ALLDAY PROJECT, drew attention during a personal-finance lecture by economic YouTuber Shuka for barely speaking. Annie is the granddaughter of Lee Myung-hee, chairwoman emerita of Shinsegae Group, and the eldest daughter of Chung Yoo-kyung, the group’s chairwoman.
A video released on the official ALLDAY PROJECT YouTube channel on the 7th featured Shuka, who has 3.7 million subscribers. Shuka gave the members a lecture on asset management.
At the event, the other members discussed their own approaches to personal finance, including stock investing, gold, and collecting Pokémon cards. Annie did not say much during the discussion.
When a U.S. Powerball jackpot win came up, Annie also joined the conversation. After member WOOCHAN asked, "Don’t many winners of large lottery jackpots live extravagantly and eventually meet a tragic end?" Annie, who had been quiet, replied, "With 2.8 trillion won, I don’t think the ending would be bad."
Shuka agreed with Annie. He said, "That’s true. With 2.8 trillion won, even calculating only 3% annual interest, you would receive about 7 billion won a month, so the balance would hardly decrease no matter how recklessly you spent it."
Later, Annie won 4,000 won in an instant lottery experience.
Various reactions also followed online after the video was released. Netizens left comments such as, "They’re teaching personal finance to a third-generation chaebol heir—how could anyone not watch this?" and "Annie’s very presence in this class is hilarious."

Meanwhile, Annie debuted in the music industry as a member of ALLDAY PROJECT in June last year. This year, she completed her studies in art history and visual arts at Columbia University in the United States. Even before her debut, she attracted attention in the industry as the granddaughter of Lee Myung-hee, chairwoman emerita of Shinsegae Group, and the eldest daughter of Chung Yoo-kyung.
