[Financial News] The body of one of the six crew members missing following the capsizing of the tugboat TNS Catcher off the coast of Busan on the 2nd was found on a beach in Pohang, seven days after the accident. On the 9th, the Coast Guard announced that missing crew member A of the TNS Catcher was found dead on a beach in Pohang this morning.
The 286-ton TNS Catcher capsized along with another vessel while towing the Republic of Liberia-flagged container ship M at approximately 1:29 p.m. on the 2nd, about 9 km east of Oryukdo Islets, Busan. The vessel completely sank about two hours after capsizing and was found on the seabed at a depth of about 87 meters.
Of the eight crew members on board at the time of the accident, one was rescued, one died, and the remaining six were missing. With the recently discovered body confirmed to be that of a missing crew member, the death toll has risen to two and the number of missing to five.
