[Breaking] President Lee: "My Term of Office Is Clearly Limited Under the Constitution"

[Financial News] President Lee Jae Myung, who is on a state visit to France, told Korean residents in Paris on the ninth (local time), "My term of office is clearly limited under the Constitution."
President Lee made the remarks at a luncheon meeting with Korean residents held in central Paris, explaining why he scheduled many diplomatic engagements with foreign leaders early in his term.
President Lee said, "In fact, meetings between heads of state and summit diplomacy provide good opportunities for trade, investment and the security environment in the Republic of Korea, which is truly an open trading nation. The countries I have planned visits to see their export growth rates rise markedly."
He added, "Not to mention cooperation between companies, activity among overseas Koreans also seems to increase somewhat. Those effects do exist. In any case, because my term of office is clearly limited under the Constitution, I have to start quickly to benefit from those effects."
