Suhyup Bank CEO Candidate Committee Selects All Six Challengers for Interviews

[Financial News] All six candidates seeking to become the next president of Suhyup Bank have been selected for interviews.
According to Suhyup Bank on the 9th, the CEO Candidate Recommendation Committee selected all applicants for interviews after reviewing their applications.
The candidates include three internal applicants—current Suhyup Bank President Shin Hak-ki and former vice presidents Jeong Cheol-gyun and Park Yang-soo—and three external candidates: Lee Hyung Joo, head of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU); Lee Hyung-seung, an outside director of BNK Securities; and Kang Cheol-seung, a former professor at Chung-Ang University.
The candidate interviews will be held on the 21st, and the final candidate is expected to be selected on the 22nd. The next president will then be appointed in October after approval by Suhyup Bank’s board of directors, the board of the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, and Suhyup Bank’s general meeting of shareholders. Shin’s term runs through November 17.
