"They say she wouldn’t fly unless it was first class": Seo In-young speaks directly about past abuse-of-power allegations

[Financial News] Singer Seo In-young addressed on a preview show the past allegations that she had abused her power by demanding first-class travel. She did not acknowledge the allegations as fact, but spoke about her past attitude, saying, "I admit I used to behave arrogantly and foolishly."
The YouTube channel SBS released a preview on the 9th for the SBS entertainment program "My Genie Secretary," featuring Seo In-young.
In the preview, Seo In-young brought up the past abuse-of-power allegations herself. She confessed, "They say I abused my power. They say I said, 'I won't fly unless it's first class.'"
Seo In-young did not directly acknowledge the allegation that she refused to fly unless she was in first class. However, she admitted that she had been immature and arrogant in the past, saying, "I admit I used to behave arrogantly and foolishly."
She said she was in the process of changing as she moved through the controversy and personal difficulties. Seo In-young stated, "I think this is the process of changing so that I can do better."
Seo In-young said she had "become much calmer than before" and was in the process of turning over a new leaf. However, Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu, who worked with her as day managers, were unsettled from the outset by her demands and sensitive reactions.
Seo In-young repeatedly called out, "Secretary Lee Seo-jin," and also demanded, "Set things up now, secretaries."
After watching this, Kim Kwang-kyu drew laughter by saying, "She says she has turned over a new leaf, but she is extremely sensitive."

Meanwhile, Seo In-young debuted in 2002 as a member of the group Jewelry. She later attracted public attention through her "trendsetter" and "tough-girl" personas.
In 2017, a video containing profanity from an overseas shoot for JTBC's "With You Season 2: The Greatest Love" was released, leading to a conflict with the production staff and allegations of abuse of power. Seo In-young subsequently left the program.
