[Financial News] The Public Procurement Service (PPS) conducted an on-site inspection to ensure the safety of the “Moduui Saengri-dae” (“Everyone’s Sanitary Pads”) public sanitary-pad support program, which aims to support public health.
The PPS said it visited KleanNara’s plant in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, on the 9th to inspect the production and quality-control processes for public sanitary pads. As a supplier for “Moduui Saengri-dae,” KleanNara provides products to 12 pilot regions nationwide.
During the visit, PPS Deputy Administrator Kang Seong-min inspected the entire process, from raw-material delivery through manufacturing, packaging and testing, as well as the hygiene-management system. He also listened to on-site difficulties related to improving quality.
“The quality and supply stability of public sanitary pads are directly linked to public health,” Kang said. “Please make every effort to manage them thoroughly so that people can use them with confidence.”
Meanwhile, “Moduui Saengri-dae” is a public-welfare program introduced to guarantee the health and hygiene rights of vulnerable groups and improve access to sanitary products in public facilities. It has received favorable reviews for addressing welfare blind spots by directly providing high-quality sanitary pads at public institutions and schools.
