"He Was Disrespected by a Store Owner in His 20s"... Man in His 70s Causes Disturbance at Mobile Phone Store, Returns After Release and Sets It on Fire

[Financial News] A man in his 70s who was arrested for causing a disturbance at a mobile phone store in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, was arrested again after returning to the store and setting it on fire following his release.
Siheung Police Station in Gyeonggi Province said on the 9th that it had arrested the man in his 70s as he was caught in the act on suspicion of arson of an occupied building and other offenses.
At around 2:10 a.m. that day, the man allegedly broke into a mobile phone store in Sincheon-dong, Siheung-si, operated by a store owner in his 20s. He is accused of spraying a flammable substance inside before setting it on fire.
The fire completely destroyed the store on the first floor of the commercial building. No one was believed to have been inside at the time.
The man suffered burns while setting the fire and was taken to a hospital.
He had visited the store the previous day and caused a disturbance, saying he had been "disrespected." He was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of business and other offenses, questioned, and then released.
A police official said, "We believe he set the fire out of anger," adding, "We plan to investigate the exact circumstances as soon as he is discharged from the hospital."
