[Financial News] As demand grows for interiors that closely reflect individual preferences instead of standardized designs, LX Hausys is strengthening its push into the business-to-consumer (B2C) market by offering customized space solutions. The company aims to attract interior-design demand by expanding experiential showrooms where consumers can directly combine materials, colors, and other elements, moving beyond simple product sales.
According to industry sources on the 9th, LX Hausys held the "Discovery of Personal Taste Exhibition Space Opening Day" event at the LX Z:IN Flagship in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. About 150 people attended, including LX Hausys President Jinseo Roh, brand ambassador Noh Hee-young, CEO of Hino Consulting Firm, and influencers in the interior-design and living sectors.
LX Hausys is promoting "Discovery of Personal Taste" as a key theme of its B2C business strategy for the second half of this year. Rather than designing spaces according to existing trends or standardized packages, the approach allows consumers to select details such as color, material, texture, and finish themselves.
The strategy reflects the company’s assessment that, in the interior-design market, space configurations incorporating design and individual lifestyles—as well as product functionality—have become major factors in purchasing decisions.
LX Hausys has converted the third floor of its Nonhyeon-dong flagship into a "Discovery of Personal Taste" themed space, arranging key products such as windows, flooring, wall materials, and kitchens in realistic residential settings. According to the company, the space’s average daily visitor count in September increased by 30% from the previous month after its opening.
The event also featured a kitchen space using the green-toned "Hino Green & Mint" color. The initiative seeks to reflect consumers’ individuality through more finely differentiated combinations of colors and materials, moving away from standardized color choices.
LX Hausys has also been expanding experiential B2C touchpoints. At KOREA BUILD WEEK held last month, for example, it operated a space where consumers could combine product samples, including flooring, wallpaper, and interior films, as well as booths offering one-on-one consultations. The company plans to focus on expanding B2C sales in the second half of this year based on its "Discovery of Personal Taste" strategy.
"I was impressed by LX Hausys’s technology for creating a sophisticated deep green color suited to individual preferences from among the many green-toned colors," Noh Hee-young said.
An LX Hausys representative said, "We will expand various interior solutions and experiential spaces so that customers seeking to design spaces according to their tastes can express their individuality."
