SH Donates 50 Million Won to Support Recovery from Torrential Rain Damage

[Financial News] Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH) said on the 9th that it had donated 50 million won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to support the swift recovery of areas recently affected by torrential rain and assist displaced residents. The donation also includes 3.37 million won voluntarily raised by SH employees.
At a donation ceremony held at SH headquarters that day, SH President Hwang Sang-ha and Hope Bridge Secretary-General Shin Hoon presented the donation and discussed measures to support disaster victims. The funds will be used to support housing and living stability for flood victims in areas including Gyeongsangnam-do that suffered extensive damage from the torrential rain.
SH has consistently donated relief funds whenever major disasters have occurred, beginning with support for victims of the 2019 wildfires in Gangwon State. Including this donation, its cumulative contributions to Hope Bridge amount to approximately 175 million won.
SH President Hwang Sang-ha said, "I hope this will provide even a small measure of comfort and strength to residents who have lost their homes and livelihoods and fallen into despair because of the sudden heavy rains." He added, "We will continue to do our utmost to fulfill our social responsibilities as a public corporation while growing together with local communities."
