[Financial News] As the global mobility market undergoes a major transformation, Hankook & Company Group is mobilizing its key affiliates to recruit new talent who will lead future growth. The group is making a bold move to strengthen its fundamental competitiveness as a global high-tech group by recruiting a large number of 'Proactive Leaders' to spearhead its push to take the lead in the electric-vehicle tire market and expand into new businesses.
Hankook & Company Group announced on the 9th that Hankook & Company, its business-oriented holding company, and key affiliate Hankook Tire & Technology will each conduct open recruitment for new employees in the second half of this year.
Hankook Tire, a key affiliate, will accept applications from today through the 27th across 27 recruitment categories, including research and development (R&D), manufacturing and production, corporate support, and sales and marketing. Hankook & Company, the holding company, will then recruit new employees in seven areas, including corporate support, safety and production technology, quality, and supply chain management (SCM), from the 23rd through the 5th of next month.
Applicants must be graduates of, or scheduled to graduate from, a four-year university or higher by February 2027 and meet the required language qualifications. In line with its global business expansion, the group is also accepting applications from international students. Final candidates selected through document screening, the online aptitude test (HKAT), first- and second-round interviews, and a pre-employment medical examination will officially join the company in January next year.
The group is also significantly expanding engagement with prospective applicants to secure top talent early. Following an online information session on the 10th, Hankook Tire will hold small-group mentoring with current employees on the 18th at the Sinchon café of employment information platform Catch. After conducting an online information session on the 14th, Hankook & Company will host offline job mentoring on the 17th at Catch Café's Hyehwa location, with recruiters and current employees providing practical information about the roles.
This recruitment drive is based on the group's distinctive corporate culture, 'Proactive Culture,' which Chairman Cho Hyun-bum has consistently emphasized. The group plans to identify candidates who embody its four core values—innovation, passion, global competence, and teamwork—and develop them into proactive and creative leaders.
A Hankook & Company Group representative said, "Through this open recruitment, we plan to select outstanding talent who will lead the global high-tech mobility industry," adding, "We hope that candidates with expertise and a spirit of challenge will demonstrate their capabilities and help drive the company's future growth."
