ChildFund Korea and Semo Company Donate 3,224 Pack Cleansers to Families Headed by Unmarried Mothers

[Financial News] Pack cleansers worth 93 million won will be provided to families headed by unmarried mothers who are raising children. The donation was organized by beauty company Semo Company in partnership with ChildFund Korea to mark its fifth anniversary.
According to ChildFund Korea, a specialized child welfare organization, on the 9th, 3,224 vegan pack cleansers from the beauty brand WHIPPED, donated by Semo Company, will be delivered to families with children headed by unmarried mothers nationwide through the Association of Unmarried Mothers Creating a Changed Future, “Intree.”
The donation was arranged to thank customers for their support and help families headed by unmarried mothers with children in their daily lives. The two organizations held a ceremony to deliver the donated goods on the 3rd at the ChildFund Building in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Semo Company has supported medical and psychological treatment costs for children from vulnerable groups who need such care through ChildFund Korea.
While its previous support helped ease children’s treatment expenses, this donation provides goods for use at home. In other words, the scope of assistance has expanded from individual treatment to families’ daily lives.
Semo Company CEO Choi Sol said, “It is meaningful to be able to convey our support to families headed by unmarried mothers with children as we mark our fifth anniversary. We will continue to look after neighbors in need and consistently pursue sincere sharing initiatives.”
Sin Jeong-won, head of ChildFund Korea’s Social Contribution Partnership Division, said, “We hope this donation will help families headed by unmarried mothers with children maintain healthy daily lives. ChildFund Korea will continue providing various forms of support so that children and families can live in stable environments.”
