Incheon City announced on the 9th that it will hold the 11th Munhaksan Mountain Music Concert at the summit of Munhaksan Mountain at 7 p.m. on the 19th under the theme "A Feast of Classical Music Delivered by the Sunset."
This year's performance will feature the Incheon Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Choi Soo-yeol. Soprano Soyoung Park and harmonica player Park Jongseong will join the orchestra as guest performers to bring the emotion of classical music to an autumn night.
The concert is free and open to all citizens. However, to ensure the event proceeds safely, general attendees must walk to the summit, while all vehicle traffic will be restricted except for vehicles transporting people with mobility difficulties.
Vehicles transporting people with mobility difficulties will run between Exit 1 of Incheon Munhak Stadium and Munhaksan Mountain every 20 minutes from 5 to 7 p.m. and from 8 to 10 p.m. Because the performance will take place at night, safety guides will be stationed after the event to direct attendees safely downhill toward Munhak-dong along the illuminated route.
Jeon Yudo, director of Incheon's Culture and Sports Bureau, said, "I hope this will be a special time for citizens to enjoy culture and the arts amid beautiful nature."
