[Financial News] HANSAE, a global fashion original design manufacturing (ODM) company, has launched the second-semester program of the Next Design School (NDS), a global fashion talent development initiative jointly established with Hongik University.
According to HANSAE on the 9th, NDS is an industry-academia cooperation program first introduced last year. Experts from related companies and university faculty teach practical skills spanning the fashion industry, from product development to management.
This semester consists of two advanced courses: the Global Fashion Professional Practice & Career Creation Course and the CLO 3D Fashion Design & Career Creation Course.
HANSAE employees currently working in the field will serve as instructors for the Global Fashion Professional Practice Course. Kim Ikhwan, vice chairman of HANSAE and an adjunct professor at NDS, delivered a special lecture on the 8th. The program will offer lectures on the fashion apparel market, brand sales, fabrics, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management. After the midterm examinations, the research and development (R&D) department will provide advanced practical knowledge. The CLO course will be taught by professional instructors in collaboration with CLO Virtual Fashion, a global 3D apparel design software company.
Outstanding students who complete the courses will receive incentives, including bonus points when applying for HANSAE's open recruitment.
Kim Ikhwan, vice chairman of HANSAE, said, "As K-fashion is attracting global attention, developing talent has become more important than ever. We will support students so they can take the initiative in building their practical skills."
