[Financial News] World Furniture, a company specializing in office furniture and smart office solutions that has grown in Busan for nearly 40 years, announced on the 9th that it will participate in this year’s International Environment and Energy Industry Exhibition, following last year’s event.
The 2026 International Environment and Energy Industry Exhibition, held at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) from the 16th to the 18th, will showcase a range of technologies in the environment and energy sectors, including environmental technology, renewable energy, power, generation, and carbon neutrality. Companies and institutions from South Korea and abroad are expected to participate, making the event a platform for sharing the latest technologies and policy directions in the environment and energy industries, as well as for business exchanges aimed at sustainable industrial development.
At the exhibition, World Furniture plans to showcase furniture products tailored to public institutions and educational institutions, combining smart technology with user-centered design. It will also propose sustainable office environment solutions designed to address changing workplace conditions.
Key products on display will include electric desks, which can be flexibly adjusted to users’ needs and work environments, and work chairs that provide comfortable seating even during extended periods of work. The company will also present electronic key lockers designed to enhance the security and convenience of personal belongings.
Among these products, the electric desk Emotion Desk allows users to freely adjust the desk height according to their needs, creating a work environment in which they can easily work either seated or standing. The company plans to demonstrate the Emotion Desk at the exhibition so visitors can experience its functions and versatility, highlighting its competitiveness as a product suited to smart office environments.
Yoo Sang-soo, planning director at World Furniture, said, "We are honored that World Furniture, which has grown as a furniture manufacturer in Busan for 36 years, is participating in the International Environment and Energy Industry Exhibition again this year after last year."
