[Financial News] Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) said on the 9th that Chairman Kwon Hyung-taek visited power semiconductor manufacturer JMJ KOREA and held an on-site business meeting.
Kwon toured JMJ KOREA's production site with regulatory innovation experts and examined the difficulties caused by restrictions on the types of businesses permitted to operate in industrial complexes.
JMJ KOREA develops and manufactures power semiconductor packaging technology based on bonding technology using copper clips and ultrasonic vibration. KOTEC has provided funding for the development and mass production of JMJ KOREA's power semiconductor package process technology.
Kwon said, "I was able to hear about the difficulties companies face in the field and examine what support they need on site." He added, "I will do my best to deliver institutional improvements that companies can feel in practice and effective support."
KOTEC plans to strengthen field-oriented policy support by visiting small and medium-sized venture companies and identifying regulatory and management difficulties.
