[Financial News] Coinone is launching its ‘Virtual Asset Prices’ service, providing a range of virtual asset information through the Korea Investment & Securities app.
According to the virtual asset industry on the 9th, Coinone recently added the ‘Virtual Asset Prices’ service to the Korea Investment & Securities app. The service is available through the Virtual Asset Prices tab in the app. Tapping the tab takes users to a service page provided by Coinone.
Once users access the page, they can view real-time prices and percentage changes for virtual assets supported for trading on Coinone. The page also displays real-time rankings across five key categories: trading value, market capitalization, percentage gains, percentage losses, and popular assets. Selecting an individual asset provides periodic price-change charts and detailed market information, including liquidity. It also offers ‘general information’ useful for investment decisions, such as the asset’s white paper, official website, key information summary, and guide, allowing users to refer to it when investing.
To mark the launch of the ‘Virtual Asset Prices’ service, Coinone is holding the ‘My Investment Type Test’ event for new customers from 10 a.m. that day through the 30th. Users who complete the investment-type test by answering a brief survey on the ‘Virtual Asset Prices’ page will receive an event code. New Coinone customers who enter the code when signing up can receive virtual assets worth 30,000 won.
Coinone CEO Cha Myung-hoon said, “Following the launch of the ‘Quick Access to Stock Investment’ service in the Coinone app last July, this is the second collaborative service we have introduced with our shareholder, Korea Investment & Securities.” He added, “We will continue to make movement between the two companies’ services more convenient while enhancing synergies, including increasing the inflow of customers to both companies.”
Meanwhile, on July 22, the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) under the Financial Services Commission (FSC) accepted Coinone’s report on a change in its largest shareholder. Korea Investment & Securities and OKX Ventures were thereby officially confirmed as joint third-largest shareholders, each holding a 20% stake.
