LX Pantos Transports 11.2 Million Fresh Eggs to South Korea on 10 Chartered Flights

[Financial News] LX Pantos brought 11.2 million fresh eggs from the United States and Thailand to South Korea using 10 chartered cargo aircraft.
LX Pantos announced on the 9th that it had completed a large-scale air-transport project to bring fresh eggs from the United States and Thailand to South Korea.
Since June, LX Pantos has transported fresh eggs produced at farms in the United States and Thailand to South Korea on 10 chartered flights. The total shipment amounted to 11.2 million fresh eggs, weighing approximately 800 metric tons.
The project was arranged as part of government measures to address instability in South Korea’s domestic egg supply caused by avian influenza (AI) and other factors. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) is expanding the import and supply of fresh eggs from overseas through the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT).
An LX Pantos representative said, "We successfully carried out this highly complex fresh-egg transport project based on our air-freight capabilities and cold-chain operating expertise." The representative added, "Going forward, we will leverage our experience accumulated in the special-cargo sector to respond to the needs of our customers and the market."
