【Financial News Chuncheon=Kim Gi-seop】Gangwon Development Corporation has organized a youth supporters program to incorporate the perspectives of local young people into its management.
According to Gangwon Development Corporation on the 8th, the launch ceremony for the first cohort of its ESG and Innovation Youth Supporters was held that day in the corporation’s main conference room, marking the start of ESG and innovation management activities with local young people. Seven local university students were selected through an open recruitment process to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the corporation’s ESG and innovation management.
The supporters will monitor the corporation’s ESG and innovation activities and participate in various campaigns and the production of promotional content, serving as a channel for conveying young people’s perspectives to management. The corporation also held the first meeting of its ESG and Innovation Task Force, composed of internal employees, to share its direction for the initiative. The task force will review the feasibility of ideas submitted by the supporters and help connect them with the corporation’s projects. Through this process, the corporation plans to identify innovation initiatives addressing key issues and the needs of provincial residents, then develop them into actionable projects.
Gangwon Development Corporation President Kim Tae-heon said, "The ideas generated by local university students through their participation in monitoring and content production will become a driving force for bringing new changes to management." He added, "We will communicate and collaborate with young people to identify and implement innovation initiatives that residents can experience."
