13th Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council’s First-Term Members’ Group: “We Will Do Our Best to Serve as a Bridge”

Chowoohoe, an association of first-term members of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council, held its first meeting of the 13th council at the council’s multipurpose room on the 3rd.
The meeting was attended by first-term lawmakers, including Chowoohoe Chair Lee Jong-pyeong, as well as Council Chair Kim Hee-soo, Vice Chairs Lee Chun-woo and Park Soon-beom, Spokesperson Yeon Gyu-sik, and Council Operations Committee Chair Choi Byung-geun, who celebrated Chowoohoe’s new beginning.
Chair Lee emphasized, “I hope Chowoohoe will become a strong platform for cooperation where first-term lawmakers can communicate freely across party and regional lines and support one another in their legislative activities. We will work to gather the diverse opinions of our members and turn them into practical legislative activities for the development of Gyeongsangbuk-do and the happiness of its residents.”
Chowoohoe is an association formed by first-term members of the 13th Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council to communicate and build unity across party and regional lines and share the experience and information needed for legislative activities.
Chowoohoe plans to hold regular meetings every two months to exchange views on major legislative issues and the direction of its activities. It will also pursue various initiatives to strengthen bonds and cooperation among its members.
