Residents Move Into Seoul Metropolitan Government’s First Moa Housing Complex...Korea Land Trust-Developed Gangbyeon Station Central I-Park Completed

[Financial News] Korea Land Trust said on the 8th that Gangbyeon Station Central I-Park (Hanyang Villa Moa Housing) in Gwangjin District, Seoul, for which it served as the project developer, had completed construction and officially began move-ins for its 215 households on the 7th.
The completed Gangbyeon Station Central I-Park is a small-scale redevelopment project that transformed a formerly aging low-rise residential area into an apartment complex with two underground floors, up to 15 above-ground floors, four buildings and a total of 215 households. It also carries symbolic significance as the first completed Moa Housing complex under the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s program.
The complex is regarded as a model case that improved project feasibility by actively taking advantage of regulatory easing introduced under the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Moa Housing review standards in 2022. It was initially planned as six buildings with 211 households, but applying the review standards raised the maximum height to 15 floors and reduced the number of buildings to four, creating a more pleasant residential environment. Living conditions are also expected to improve further as newly built apartments become concentrated nearby and favorable developments—including the relocation of the Gwangjin District office to a new building and the relocation of corporate headquarters—take shape.
Korea Land Trust, which served as the project developer, entered the redevelopment sector actively immediately after a related law was revised in 2016 and has since established itself as a central pillar of its business portfolio. As of the second quarter of 2026, it has more than 70 redevelopment specialists, among the largest workforces in the industry, and is leading projects as a project agent and developer at 40 sites nationwide, covering 44,633 households. Following the successful completion and move-in of projects including Incheon Hagik SK View and Yeongdeungpodong 2-ga Centreville Asterium, construction and sales at Heukseok District 11 and Singil District 10 are also proceeding without disruption.
A Korea Land Trust official said, "We have added another meaningful success to our redevelopment record with the completion of the first Moa Housing complex." The official added, "We will do everything possible to ensure that the remaining schedules proceed smoothly throughout the move-in period."
